Compressed Air technology
Scroll
Quiet, oil-free, small footprint.
Schematic section, not to scale
How it works
Scroll compressors use orbiting spirals to compress air without oil. They are quiet and clean, popular in medical, laboratory and light-industrial settings.
An orbiting scroll moves against a fixed scroll, trapping air in pockets that shrink toward the centre discharge.
Performance range
Typically ~2-30 hp, often in multiplexed packages
Typical industry range. Exact capability is model specific, see each model’s curve.
